WHAT IS MOLD:

Mold (Fungi) can be found anywhere, indoors and outdoors. With over 100,000 species of mold, presently known today.

In the United States alone, there are at least 1000 mold species commonly recognized.

Most common species of mold found in the United States are BASIDIOSPORES, CLADOSPORIUM, PENICILLIUM, ASPERGILLUS & STACHYBOTRYS type spores.

WHERE WE FIND MOLD:

Mold thrives when water or dampness are present and has a food source such as wood, drywall, insulation, furniture, carpet, paper, foods, etc.

MOLD HEALTH CONCERNS:

VISIBLE OR UNDETECTED MOLD IN A STRUCTURE CAN AGGRAVATE MANY EXISTING HEALTH CONDITIONS. MOLD CAN BE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY OR ANYONE WHO HAS ANY TYPE OF RESPIRATORY HEALTH ISSUES.
