Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR/DNA)

 

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a testing procedure that permits identification of a substance based on its DNA, e.g., (fungi, bacteria, etc.). DNA extracted from a sample is acquired and reproduced by acceleration to yield a quantity detectable by the instruments used.

PCR is extremely useful in evaluating concerns related to groundwater, fungi and bacteria.
